5 Common Escape Room Questions

Can I bring my younger kids with me?

At Escape From Mystery Manor, our escape rooms are kid-friendly! While each of the escape room games are fully immersive, and there are a few jump scares, we believe that our escape rooms are challenging and fun for all ages. We suggest in our 21 Escape Room Tips to create a team with members from multiple generations to assist you in solving the many different types of puzzles found in each room.

How long do we have to escape the room?

Each of our three escape rooms, Murder at Mystery Manor, Prison Break, and Room 1301, have a 60-minute countdown that begins after you have been introduced to the game concept by one of our Game Masters. While you are in the escape room you can play at your own speed and trade time for hints. So the while you have 60 minutes on the clock, the amount of time you spend in a room will depend on you and your teammates.

Will you explain the game before you lock us in?

Escape Rooms have a general set of guidelines and rules that you should follow not only to get the most out of your game but to ensure that other players can too. When you arrive at Escape From Mystery Manor you will be treated by one of our Game Masters and asked to fill out a release waiver. You will then have a chance to get acquainted with the types of locks in play in the escape room. Finally you will watch a short introduction video that will set the stage for your escape room! We can’t wait to meet you!
